Veterans Appreciation Event

The Center Point Legion would like to give a big thank you to Katie Schmitz. Monday morning she along with other parents of home schooled kids in the area decorated our Hall, put on a breakfast, made cards for our local Veterans and had them talk with the kids. The gesture and gratitude touched us all, even the ones that were unable to be there. To say the least, just a simple thanks and a smile meant so much to the Veterans on hand. What they did for us took it over the top. Add on there was around 70 or so in attendance it was an overwhelming joyous time.

Thank you very much, so glad you, the other parents and all those kids are a part of this community.
